Handwoven Multicolored Silk Wrap Scarf from India, "Vallam Kali in Poppy"
Inspired by the Vallam Kali boat race in Kerala, Somu and Soma design this scarf to feature abstract boat motifs, painted by hand over a body of poppy with splashes of green and yellow. Handwoven on the traditional Indian pit loom of double-ply Bishnupur silk, this magnificent scarf reflects a cherished Indian pastime. It is finished with fringe at each end.
