Part of the grand Oaxaca textile tradition, Irene Ruiz designs this Mexican cushion cover. It is painstakingly handwoven from wool on the foot petal loom, finished with diamond motifs over a multicolored body that captures the beauty of a desert at sunset. An ivory color characterizes the back of the cover, which features a slit for the insertion of a cushion.
