Handwoven Cotton Decorative Dolls (Set of 100), "Worry Doll Village"
According to legend, the Mayan princess Ixmucane received the ability to solve the worries of her people from the god of the sun. In keeping with that tradition, these quitapenas, or "worry dolls" from Guatemala are offered by the Lopez Garcia Family. Working with cotton on the traditional floor loom, the talented artisans hand-weave the colorful dresses of 100 distinct worry dolls. This awe-inspiring set arrives within a handy cotton storage pouch.

"LOTS of Cute and Colorful Worry Dolls"

The Lopez Garcia family has created some of these well-made dolls with light faces and some with brown faces, which I like very much. These Quitapenas (Worry dolls) are larger and more detailed than some I have bought other places years ago. It will be so much fun to give them as uplifting gifts. They will make my friends and relatives smile during these difficult months, because they make me smile every time I look at them. The Lopez Garcia family even tucked in a postcard of a site in Guatemala telling me thank you. I am so glad I purchased this set of 100 dolls.

"Beautiful and beautifully made!"

I love these little dolls! The little wooden box they come in is painted so beautifully, and each doll is different. Theyre each so tiny, yet so intricately sewn in gorgeous, vibrant colors, all with different dresses and head coverings. I always use them to tell my worries to, and they always help me to sleep in peace. I will treasure them and definitely look for more beautiful things from this artist!
