Add a royal touch to your home with this cushion cover from Mexico. Designed by Carmen Ruiz, the cushion cover is carefully handwoven of cotton on the telar de chicote, a traditional handloom. The regal cushion cover features a solid color in royal blue with striped patterns in off-white at the center that are diligently incorporated by hand. It opens at the back with a zipper for inserting a cushion.

"A beautiful decorative accent"
We bought two of these. Standard pillows fit in them perfectly. They are very well made, the zipper opening is well-concealed and they look fantastic on the bed or sofa.

"careful, detailed quality work"
This pillow cover is really a work of art. It is so detailed and every little loop and stitch is perfect. The zipper used in the hidden closure is heavy and strong. From top to bottom it is meticulously built. Thank you so much.

"So beautiful!"
This shawl has a gorgeous weave and beautiful color! Its a little stiff, but a good weight for cool, rather than cold nights. I find myself looking for ways to wear it.

"Beautiful! Just the right weight."
My puppy damaged our first one but I kept it to have shams made from the remains. We ordered a new one, which the puppies are not allowed to touch. I cannot tell you how beautiful this is and it is so well made. It is definitely an heirloom piece. It is a little larger than normal king size which i love. Keeps us covered and not competing for cover as we sleep. Perfect for Deep South Texas hot weather. The thread and weave are thick and tight enough to make for a very durable and weighty but still light compared to blankets, comforters or quilts. Loved it so much I bought an ivory one and am now back for another of this colorful one just in case something happens to the one I have. My only suggestion would be to improve the color match of the tassel thread to be brighter like the colors in the weave. Still, I LOVE it and LOVE Carmen for sharing her beautiful art with us.
