Two horses face off, eyeing each other warily on Theophilus Anum's colorful mask. Ghanaian artisans in Anum's workshop hand carve the mask from local sese wood before encrusting the forehead with recycled glass beads in a fiery mix of yellow and orange.

"Earned a prominent place in my growing collection."
The workmanship is superb, the colors are subtle but perfect, the piece has a certain heft that is hard to explain but much appreciated. Im sure to look for his pieces when I next order a mask.

"Striking Piece of Artwork"
The beadwork on this item is stunning. I only wish that the head and ears on mine were a little more cat-like. (I am a cat lover.)
