Artisan Elena Ixtamer uses the traditional waist loom to create this breezy open-weave poncho. Made of pure cotton yarns in a deep orange color, the poncho is the perfect topper when you just need a light extra layer. The artisan hails from San Juan la Laguna in Guatemala, an area known for its use of natural textile dyes.

"Makes me happy"
Just looking at this shawl makes me happy! The colors are vibrant, and it feels great against the skin. It is large enough to wear as a shawl, but not too large that it can t be worn as a scarf. It is amazingly beautiful! Thank you Elena!
