Handmade Guatemalan Ornaments (Set of 6), "Dreamcatcher Angels"
Sweet holiday dreams are yours when you add these magical ornaments to your Christmas tree. The six ornaments are crafted by the Lopez Garcia Family in the style of dreamcatchers with quitapenas, or Guatemalan "worry dolls". According to legend, the princess Ixmucané was granted the ability to solve people's problems by the Sun God. Over time, people began to make tiny dolls in remembrance of Ixmucané. They would tell the dolls their problems in the hopes that Ixmucané would solve them. The custom became very popular, and continues to this day.

"Good blend of traditions"
I like the combination of the dream catcher and the worry doll all in one, as do the people I have given them to.

"They are really cute!"
These little animals are so much cuter than the usual worry dolls. I bought some of each for Christmas presents and these little animals are cuter than the little dolls.
