Mexican artisans Fernando and Magali Pedro create this pretty decorative box using the time-honored techniques of Oaxacan barro negro. The unique black color and slightly metallic sheen are obtained by polishing the clay's surface with a quartz stone before the piece is fired. The small round box is perfect for holding jewelry or other small treasures.

“Unique item”
