Handmade African Sese Wood Mask, "Basala"
This stunning mask is the creation of Ghana's Emmanuel Austin Ankude, who names his design in honor of the Basala tribe from Congo. The West African artisan hand carves the mask from local sese wood, sands the surface smooth, then paints the piece in brown and black hues.
