Handcrafted Zodiac Sterling Silver Pendant Necklace, "Chinese Zodiac Ox"
Jantana designs a fabulous jewelry collection inspired by the Chinese zodiac. The style of the pendant recalls China's millenary paper cutting art known as jianzhi. It is masterfully cut by hand from a sheet of brushed sterling silver symbolizing the ox. People under this sign are said to be dependable, strong and determined. Oxen are tolerant individuals who believe the road to success involves hard work and scrupulous behavior; they don't believe in taking shortcuts.
A sign under the Chinese zodiac is determined by year of birth rather than the day of birth. There are 12 signs, symbolized by animals. The particular sign rules a whole lunar year therefore it is only repeated every 60 years.

"Pretty Colors..."
...But the stones are miniscule. They look so much larger in the photo, in person maybe two-thirds the size. I like the concept of the three rings with stones that align, its too bad they are so very small.
