Regal in her countenance, this Majapahit princess by Nenny Lukhita exudes the rich artistry that reigned in Indonesia between the 12th and 14th centuries. During this period, King Hayam Wuruk succeeded in gradually uniting the whole archipelago under the name of Dwipantara. This beautiful puppet is dressed in cotton, featuring a pule wood face and pinewood hands and feet, which are movable. Dressed in cotton, her headdress and accessories are crafted with hand hammered brass.
