A stunning mask celebrates African culture. Hand-carved of sese wood, the mask features an original design by Ghanaian artisan Nasiru Nurudeen. He paints its oval shape with colorful paint, accenting it with embossed aluminum inspired by traditional scarification practices. The mask is named Yaovi, a Ewe name given to boys born on Thursday.
