Ghanaian artisan Kwasi George designs these symbolic wall accents using sese wood. Known as the Adinkra symbol Sankofa, two birds turn towards the eggs they carry on their backs. Sankofa means "return and get it" in the Twi language and symbolizes the value of learning from past mistakes and using them to shape the future.
