Guatemalan artisan Mauricio Morales handcrafts this ceramic Anna's hummingbird with a careful attention to detail. The bird is hand painted with a red throat and head, green back and tail, and white underside. The bird stands on aluminum wire legs and feet, which can be posed and are coated with anti-corrosive black paint.

"Annas Hummingbird"
This was a Christmas gift for my sister. It is stunningly beautiful . The gift wrapping was amazing , absolutely beautiful . The hummingbird was packed so well , to ensure there wasnt any breakage. Above and beyond my expectations. The Worry Doll on the top of the package was adorabable.

"Say Pretty Bird"
Hummingbirds visit the feeder outside our living room window every year. Their appearance, their chatter, their ducking and diving are a joy to watch. And now our Jacobin Hummingbird sits perched on the sill of that window so we can see him all year round. (We wonder if the visiting hummers will notice and react to him. Time will tell.)

"One of the sweetest birds yet!"
I have been looking for a reason to buy this little gem of a bird. I bought it as a gift for a friend - to remember his mother. I know he will treasure this little Beauty. I have several of Mauricios birds and have purchased a few to give to give as gifts. Mauricio, your work brings such joy to all.

"Merry Christmas to me! Love him"
My Cardinal arrived before Christmas so I just put the empty box under the tree. I placed him on top of the antique East Lake secretary that was from the ancestral farm house. The cardinal has watch over my dining room. I have Mauricio birds in several rooms of my house. I love each and every one. I have purchased many as gifts for friends, too.
