Designed by Balinese artisan Desak Nyoman Parwati, this one-size-fits-most robe showcases unique patterns of purple, green and light blue floral motifs are achieved with a combination of batik, a resist dyeing technique, and tie-dyeing. Lovely and comfortable, its flattering front-wrap style, wide sleeves and matching belt bring a touch of Balinese chic anywhere you are.

"Just gorgeous"
This arrived this morning, and I am in love. It?s exactly what I?ve been looking for for years - it?s long, elegant, well-made and absolutely beautiful. The fabric is light and cool, moves easily and just flows. The colours are just something else - I?ve never seen a gown like it. I specifically wanted to review as I had been worried about the sizing. I am a UK size 14-16 and currently pregnant, so was looking for a gown to wear in hospital. Having done all the measurements I was worried this would be too small and nearly didn?t purchase. It is plenty big enough to wrap around, and once bump is huge then it can be worn open and still looks lovely. If you are hesitating - just go for it. Such a talented woman - thank you for my beautiful gown. I am already hunting for some more and they would make truly beautiful gifts for any mother-to-be, bride-to-be, anyone really!

"My favorite sundress!"

"super nice dress"
The print is beautiful. It is a lovely flowing dress for hot weather. Washes well and needs very little ironing. Got positive remarks while wearing it.

"Very comfortable and light for summer"
This dress is lovely, I have two in different colours - each is a slightly different material and thickness. The sizing is large, I chose the smallest size (S) and it was a big on me, and Im usually a size S or M. I shrank it in the dryer.

For eleven years Desak worked with a batik artisan learning all aspects of the process, from wax painting to dyeing. From her, she learned not only the art of batik and textile design but also how to care for her workers. In her workshop, Desak and the older artisans generously teach their art to the younger artisans, preserving for another generation this UNESCO cultural treasure.
