"Lovely ring; amethyst stone too transparent though"
This is a lovely ring but the amethyst stone is too transparent. It looks like a piece of light purplish glass. The details on the ring itself is very nicely crafted. I wish the stone was a bit darker in color.

"Incredible Detail"

I just received the ring Frangipani Allure. It was a gift for my daughter and she absolutely loves it! The amethyst is big and the color is beautiful! Very feminine. You will not be disappointed with this piece. It's gorgeous! I will definitely be ordering from this artist again!

"This made an impressive milestone Birthday gift"
I ordered this beautiful ring for my sister's 50th Birthday. Amethyst is her birthstone too. She lives out of state but she sent me pictures when she got it. Not only was the ring as beautiful as described, it was presented wonderfully in a cloth bag with note cards from the artist. Giving the impression that is was handcrafted just for her.

"Amethyst solitaire ring"
The artist did a wonderful job creating this lovely ring. It is even more beautiful in person than in the photo. It is a substantial yet delicate piece of jewelry and I love it.

"My favorite Ring"
I absolutely love this ring. I would say not to wear it when taking a shower though. Over time the whiteness of the bone has faded. But, I simply do not care. For me that adds to the charm of the ring.

Buana is a master silversmith. He designs and crafts his jewelry collection using a combination of traditional and modern jewelry making techniques. Buana and his silversmiths share their knowledge and train younger artisans that join the workshop.
Microcredit Financing
Buana has received 14 microcredit loans with 0% interest from Kiva and Novica, the first for $2400 and the most recent for $7000. Proceeds were used to invest in a purchase of natural gemstones and silver for his jewelry.
Caring for Children
When Buana first began to work, he was fearful that he would be unable to care for his first child. Now he proudly cares for two.

Buana provides for the education of his two children.
