Members of the Petén Wood Artisan Sculptors handcraft this serving spoon. Dark brown cericote wood creates an elegant and natural tone. The artisans choose woods native to the lowlands of the Guatemalan Petén to craft their work.
Hand wash with soap and water. Never use a dishwasher or expose the wood to heat sources or water, as they could cause it to warp. To renew the shine, polish the wood with vegetable oil and a soft cloth.

I love this spoon so much that I bought it twice and might buy more in the future. Unlike other wooden spoons, they are big and deep and serve almost as ladles. I completely recommend them. The artisanship is also amazing.

Ive been using these a couple years now and they are by far my favorite kitchen utensils. I was worried they wouldnt hold up over time, especially since I put them in the dishwasher, but they are very rugged, while being non-scratch unlike metal, and also not wasteful plastic!
