Handcrafted Chulucanas Ceramic Decorative Vase from Peru, "Chulucanas Eyes"
Working in the traditional style of Chulucanas ceramics, Peruvian artisan Jesús Rivas designs and handcrafts this decorative vase. It features a large, pronounced body with a slender neck, finished with hexagonal and dot motifs in tones of black and ivory that evoke modern art forms. The black color is achieved by firing the vase with mango tree leaves. On the bottom, the artist inscribes his name, the name of his hometown, and the phrase Hecho a mano (made by hand).

"So unique"
My order was damaged but customer service went above and beyond to make it right....thank you very much! Even though the vase was broken I was able to see that it is a very unique piece. I am excited to get my replacement and put it on display in my home.

"A Lovely Statement Piece"
I purchased 6 pieces of Jesus Rivas geometric decorative vases. This is one of the largest pieces I own. Its definitely a statement piece. Excellent quality and workmanship. I enjoy the modern clean lines. Its hard to say I have one vase that is my favorite because they are all stunning. This artist takes great pride in creating these lovely decorative vases/pieces. I tried uploading a picture, several times, of the vases I currently own by Jesus Rivas, the artist. I was not successful.

"Very Talented Artist, Jesus Rivas"
I own 7 pieces (vases) by Jesus Rivas. He is incredibly talented. The pieces are made of high quality ceramic. With precision and geometric designs in a cream and black palette the designs are modern and eye catching. The largest piece I own is the Chulacanas Rain which is almost 20 in height. I am looking forward to future additional new pieces from Jesus Rivas. His talent and creativity, coupled with moderinism characteristics, can be enjoyed for many years to come. We have these displayed on our TV stand.

"Beautiful Pieces for Any Room"
I own 6 pieces of Jesus Rivas geometric cream and black vases. I have these displayed in our living room. The black color is achieved by using mango leaves. Its a complicated, time consuming process. Its an eco-friendly process. Jesus Rivas uses mango leaves to achieve the rich black color for his vases. The vases have a matte finish with minimal gloss. His creativity is truly unique and modern. He has 2 very tall (over 22) vases. His vases are statement pieces that look fantastic grouped with other pieces or alone. I purchased 1 of his taller vases. I grouped several of his vases together in our living room. The tallest vase sits on the floor. We have received many compliments on the vases (pieces) by Jesus Rivas. I highly recommend his vases. You will enjoy these beautiful, modern, geometric vases for many, many years!

"Modern, Beautiful, Statement Piece"
I own several pieces of Jesus Rivas artisan vases. I like the geometric, modern designs and clean lines. This is a statement piece. I purchased 6 pieces in total and waiting for 3 pieces to arrive. These are high quality and beautiful. I absolutely enjoy looking at these everyday as they sit on top of our TV entertainment stand. I will continue to purchase future artisan vases made by this incredibly talented artist, Jesus Rivas.
