The delicate glow of yellow calcite suggests warm affection. Sculpted of natural stones, two birds perch protectively near their nest. Alexandre Costa carves the couple by hand, setting the macaw family side by side in a single sculpture. One bird features tail feathers of sodalite and rose quartz with a bright jasper beak. The other flaunts a fluorite and green quartz tail with a dolomite beak. They perch on a drusy amethyst base with feet fashioned of silver plated brass. The nest is fluorite while the eggs are shaped from rose quartz and crystal quartz.
