Handcrafted Boruca Balsa Wood Mask from Costa Rica, "Boruca Generations"
The Boruca people have lived in Costa Rica's prosperous lands since ancient times. Part of the country's identity, its culture is present in the festivities of the region, such as the Dance of the Devils. Inspired by that unique culture, artisan Hugo Fernández handcrafts a balsa wood mask with traditional Boruca faces, all painted by hand and equipped with an agave cord.
