Delivery Estimate
Colorful and elegant, this flower vase is handcrafted by Mexican artisan Topiltzin Castro in the Talavera style with a low, round bowl and a long, narrow neck. The exterior is hand-painted in a chevron motif filled with vertical pinstripes in cerulean blue. In between each chevron row is a motif of cornflower blue teardrops interspersed with warm brown dots. The background is left unglazed, allowing the matte, natural ivory color of the ceramic to show through. The rim is painted a warm brown.

"Tiny treasure"
I purchased this and another small vase to give as Christmas gifts and they were well received. The raised decorate work is intricate and consistent. The style is unique, a bit reminiscent of Servin, but with a style and color palatte all its own. I look forward to seeing more from this artist.

"Absolutely gorgeous vase"
This is such a beautiful piece I almost cried when I took it out of the box. I cant wait to put some lovely dried flowers in there. Even without flowers though, it looks so perfect on my mantel.
