Handcrafted Batik Wood Mango Decorative Tray from Bali, "Mango Parang"
Coming from a background of Balinese artisans, Gunadi works with the women in his village to present beautiful works of art. This decorative tray is crafted of local wadang wood to resemble a mango, diligently decorated with traditional parang batik motifs, where a wax resist informs the designs.

"Makes me smile"

I get a little happy every time I see these ornaments. I had originally put them on a Christmas tree--they were the extra special touch among all the traditional stuff. My family thought they were cool and even wanted some. And actually, they are still on display, long after the Christmas decorations were put away.

"A favorite game"

I learned this game in school and always wanted my own set. My family loves to play this during the holidays and this is such a beautifully crafted mancala set.
