Inspired by the huipiles worn by women in Guatemala, these cushion covers captivate with refined elegance. From Yama Aj Chixot Artisan Group, the mint green cotton cushion covers are woven on a pedal loom, with a group of women in charge of weaving the striped border. Another weaves the elaborate gray patterns at the center. One cover features fish patterns, the other a crown, and these require the collaborate efforts of two weavers per loom. The covers feature an olive green back and a zipper opening for the cushions (not included).

3 Testimonials for Yama Aj Chixot Artisan Group

I purchased these to give as a set, I liked them so much I bought the other color to give away and kept this set for myself. Well sewn and practical!
My wife loves the hand woven scarf I got her. Made by the ancient back weaving method the scarf is just a modern marvel of an age old process.

I bought my mother the ""Amethyst Twilight"" headband as a gift, and she loves it. She says it seems well-made, is comfortable, and the colors are beautiful. Thank you so much for making an item she was so happy to receive!
