With ribbons of blue and green swirling through his wings and body, this little hummingbird is simply beautiful. Elena Herrera of Costa Rica handcrafts this blown glass figurine and adds colorful details with glass paint. Gold thread is attached to a glass loop at the top of the hummingbird's back for easy hanging.
The very nature of hand-blown glass artistry implies the possibility of miniscule air bubbles and/or slight imperfections. This is part of the charm of this art form, since it ensures that no two pieces will ever be identical.

"Lovely work of art"
I have a hummingbird wind chime hanging from the ceiling in my bedroom. It is so beautiful. I am going to hang this lovely little bird from that. Im so glad I purchased this. Ms. Herrera is quite talented.

"This is a beautiful piece."
This has been sitting on an end table in my living room for months. On a whim, I placed it inside a mouth blown glass lily that was next to it. Perfect! It is small and delicate, but really really nice.
