Hand-woven Cotton Brocade Cushion Cover From Mexico, "Chiapas"
A fantastic piece to add a splash of color to basic furniture. Manuela Gomez hand-weaves this regal brocade cushion cover using 100% cotton yarn in a unique combination of turquoise and warm pink. She adds a discreet slit in the back for easy fitting. Manuela learned to hand-weave brocade fabrics on a back-strap loom from her mother. Her work draws inspiration from the traditional Maya designs and techniques of her native Chiapas and mixes them with contemporary touches.

"Such a beautiful blouse!"
From the handmade cotton blouse to the beautiful embroidery this blouse is so well made. You can tell that so much care went into it. A great light weight summer blouse that you can dress up or down.
