Hand Painted Steel Sea Horse Wall Sculpture from Mexico, "Ocean Seahorse"
"I find inspiration in the sea life of Mexico's oceans," Alejandro de Esesarte says. Cut by hand from a sheet of steel, a cheerful seahorse swims in the warm tropical waves. The artisan paints the wall sculpture by hand with delightful details.

"Ocean seahorse"

I love seahorses. Saw some when I went night diving in Cozumel, Mexico, years ago. This is very good size and well made. I have it hanging in one of my bathrooms with other sea items. I even found a seahorse purse at a thrift store and have that hanging with this, very pretty together, but this would be just as attractive on it's own.

"We looked very hard to find this wall art"

We have a very conspicuous spot under a window high on a wall in our home. It needed just the right piece of art to go there. We wanted something very special. I found this on Novica and surprised my husband with it. He was thrilled. I was thrilled. And we always feel good about shopping on this site. Our dollars do a little to help others in the world.

"I am on the autism spectrum. Because of my ASD, I could not hold a job very long. I am totally isolated from people. So I was forced to try to make my own way in order to survive. My only interactions are those needed to make and sell my art. I am obsessed with perfection and beauty, quality and detail in my metal sculptures. Novica found me at a trade show and took me out of poverty. Thanks to my artistic success, I now have economic independence and total liberty. A special thanks to those who purchase my designs. Thank you for giving me my identity and value."
