Hand Painted Matte Ceramic Floral Bull Black from Peru, "Little Matte Pucara Bull"

Representing a fusion between Spanish and Peruvian art styles, this ceramic sculpture takes the form of a little bull, painted black and decorated with hand-painted earthy matte floral motifs. Maribel Posso Olivares is proud to present her own designs in this sculpture, inspired by the myth of the torito de Pucará, which tells the story of a sacrificial bull that brought water to the townspeople by piercing the side of a mountain with its horn.
