Working on a kail wood structure, the artisan adds papier mache to start a meticulous process that will transform the item into a glamorous decorative box. After polishing every corner for a smooth surface, Niyaz chooses a palette of blue, green, yellow and red hues to bring the leafy and floral motifs to life, evoking the ethereal aura of those ancient regional complexes. As the final touch, the artisan lines the box's interior with a velvet textile.
