This charming Talavera-style planter is the creation of Isabelle Collins in Puebla. Genuine Talavera pottery is made only in Puebla, using methods that date back to the 16th century. The ceramic planter features a traditional motif in cobalt blue, separated by hand-painted pictorial images of two types of cacti as well as an agave. The pot features a hole in the bottom for drainage as well as the artist's mark.
