Delivery Estimate"One of the customs we have inherited from our Maya ancestors is to give thanks to Ajaw or God every morning when we wake up and before we eat. We do it by crossing our hands over our heart and bowing, and we also use this gesture to greet our elders," says Jose Canil Ramos as he explains his inspiration. "That's how I came up with the idea of crafting a kneeling angel expressing gratitude the same way we do." Canil carves the sculpture from local pinewood and paints it with vivid detail.

"Angel of Gratitude"
I was so impressed by the carving of this wonderful piece. It goes so well with the other carving of the Virgin of Guadalupe by Jose Canil Ramos. It looks 100% better in person than in the photo.

"My beautiful angel"
My beautiful angel is kept in our livingroom where everyone can see it. It brings me peace in my heart looking at it and it reminds me to have gratitude for my life.

"This is s family heirloom now!"
Beautiful rendition of archangel Raphael. We wanted extra protection this year with do many family members having illness. We were able to generate strength and peace having this special image carved by the talented hand of Jose Ramos. The colors are very vibrant and the gold tones make this image pop out. So many family and friends now ask us to place special prayers under this sculpture and we think it is a blessing to have in our home.

"Another JOCARA success"
I ve purchased dozens of Jose Canil Ramos artworks over the years for my collection and as gifts for family and friends. Many of his best pieces are no longer available which is a shame.

"Perfect for my grandkids!"
I love how colorful the set is. I bought it so my grandchildren could move the characters around & I could teach them the nativity story. I know this will be a memory maker for them.
