Delivery EstimateHandcrafted from local wadang wood, this set of three Indonesian ornaments features beautiful kawung motifs by Gunadi. Depicting the feathers of a phoenix known as Lok Chan, kawung is a traditional style of decoration believed to have been invented by the king of Mataram, achieved here using the batik method, where a wax resist is applied to the egg-shaped ornaments before submerging them in vats of dye.

"Unique Design"
I like the unique shape of these coasters and the exotic paint design. Only wish there was a lip on the edge so the glass will not feel like it is going to slip off.
