Balinese artisans twist natural agel cords to form the beautiful tree that graces the cover of this exceptional journal crafted by hand in Bali from natural materials. Designed by artisan Komang Sulaksana, the journal is made from banana tree bark and features a cinnamon stick as well as forty unlined pages of rice straw paper you can use to write or draw on.

"Swedish ornaments gone tropical - how fun!!"
These remind my Dalarna horses from Sweden that they have cousins in warmer places! I love the tropical interpretation of the Scandinavian folk art horses, and will keep these on display year round!

"It is now a cherished Heirloom indeed"
The work is exquisite, very colorful. I was looking for a Dala horse to give to my young relatives for good luck in the New Year, and I found those horses. All recipients were delighted and admired them very much.

"Beautiful and Lucky With an Upward Trunk"
Its a beautiful work of art besides being useful. I did wish that the angle was a little wider, but thats personal to me. It doesnt take away from the quality of this piece.
