Hand Crafted Chicken Sculpture from Haiti, "Poulette"

This wonderfully whimsical sculpture is the original creation of Caribbean Craft, which strives to create stable, sustainable incomes for individual artisans and grow business opportunities for isolated artisan communities throughout Haiti. The statuette is crafted from recycled paper and locally grown arrowroot starch in the traditional method of papier mache.
