Hand Crafted Celadon Ceramic Hill Tribe Sculpture, "Hill Tribe Woman"

Artisans Thatsanee and Ramphan craft a fascinating sculpture depicting a hill tribe woman wrapped in a brown scarf. The hill tribes inhabit the mountainous northern and western regions of Thailand, and include multiple ethnic groups, each with their own distinct language and culture. Crafted from ceramic, the figure is glazed in light green celadon with a crackled texture, while the scarf is left unglazed for contrast.
