Hand Carved Walking Stick With Female Motif and Circular Top, "Ahoufe"
Not only are walking sticks a symbol of wisdom and rite of passage for someone who has reached old age, they are a piece of art with spectacular designs. Ghanaian artist Eva Asantewa Amakye creates this particular walking stick with a stunning female form adorned with colorful red and yellow paint as well as etched aluminum plating. Amakye names it Ahoufe, a word meaning "beauty."

"Backpack of vibrant colors"

This is a smaller cloth backpack made of a thick cloth that is made of beautiful, vibrant colors, with a zippered side pocket. I plan to give as a gift at Christmas but I just had to open to see it. The workmanship is lovely, thank you.
