"Great Carving - Sloppy Finishing"
While the carving of this item is excellent the finishing is horrible. I purchased two and on both only part of the item was stained and the other part left natural. The stain that they did do is not as rich of a color as picture on the website, it is a very light and pale stain.

Im beyond happy with this purchase. The craftsmanship that went into this makes it all the more special. I love it so much that when I got it I ordered the banana leaf as well. "Nice color and detail!"
I have this on a white wall next to my custom made cabinets that are natural oak and brushed with a shiny stain. This piece is not too big. I have it placed at an angle because it has a hanging hook on each side, left and right. The wood color variation is what makes it so lovely. I hope you do more tropical themed wall carvings like this.

"Fantastic!"
We worked in Indonesia for a year and fell in love with the culture and artistry. So many happy memories. We still keep in touch with our Buddhist friends we met in Cilegon. The only frustration was, how to brining some amazing hand-made treasures back to the US? NOVICA is doing very important work. The items were delivered very promptly. The packaging was amazing. I purchased this Lotus Ring to incorporate into the architecture of my new house, and it is a perfect fit for this purpose. The Lotus flower is profound symbol in Buddhism. This wood cut is an excellent representation. The wood is nice and thick and strong. The carving is beautiful. A real work of art. Thank you!
