Ghanaian artisan Akoma of West Africa crafts this sleek mask from sese wood. The dark hues of the wood contrast well with the aluminum plate materials that comprise the face. The artist calls this design Enyonam, which means "it is good for me" in the Ewe language.

"Anticipating a response"
This is a surprise Christmas gift for my husband. It is a nice mask. It had a small chip on the upper lip when it arrived but it can easily be covered. It is not an antique so it probably doesnt matter. Otherwise, it is colorful and looks like it will add a lot to my husbands collection.
