This attractive pendant necklace comes from the creative mind of designer Ali Mohammed. Hand carved from sese wood, the necklace features an adinkra symbol called funtunmfunafudua, which is the altar of the Siamese crocodile and represents a need for unity when destiny is shared. Adinkra symbols are believed to have their origin in an ancient kingdom that once stood where Ivory Coast is today in West Africa.
Ali financially supports the education of 2 of his own children and 2 others in primary school.
Starting off with very humble earnings, Ali has worked hard to grow his business and better the livelihood of himself and his family.
Ali currently supports 4 children who are all under the age of 10.
