Hand Carved Jobillo Wood Spatulas from Guatemala (Pair), "Peten Cooking"
With a unique shape and design, this pair of spatulas is hand-carved from jobillo wood. The Peten Wood Artisan Sculptors choose certified woods that are native to the Peten region of Guatemala in order to preserve the region's natural forests.
Hand wash with soap and water. Never use a dishwasher or expose the wood to heat sources or water, as they could cause it to warp. To renew the shine, polish the wood with vegetable oil and a soft cloth.

"Fantastic kitchen utensils"
Ive been using these a couple years now and they are by far my favorite kitchen utensils. I was worried they wouldnt hold up over time, especially since I put them in the dishwasher, but they are very rugged, while being non-scratch unlike metal, and also not wasteful plastic!

"We use them all the time!"
These beautiful wood salad spoons get lots of complements from guests and have replaced the salad tongs we used in the past. They are durable and still look great after months of use.

This piece is for our church pianist. Our church is a Spanish language church with many people from Central America and the Caribbean. This gift, from a Latino artist, will mean so much! A personal touch!

"Unique and very useful spoons"
I love this spoon so much that I bought it twice and might buy more in the future. Unlike other wooden spoons, they are big and deep and serve almost as ladles. I completely recommend them. The artisanship is also amazing.
