Seated in a cross-legged position, Buddha meditates as he holds his hands in traditional poses. Wayan Rendah creates this reverent Indonesian sculpture, which is carefully carved by hand from a single piece of hibiscus wood. This piece is named Semedi, meaning "meditate" in the Balinese language.
