Ghanaian artisan Abdul Aziz Mohamadu designs this charming decorative stool. Hand-carved out of sese wood, the stool is painted green with an antiqued finish. On the base of the stool, the artisan carves an adinkra symbol known as Gye Nyame, which means "except God" in the Akan language. To the Akan people, this symbol represents the supremacy of God.
