Named Fritete, an Akan word that refers to olden times, this African mask is created by Ransford Bediako. He hand-carves this mask from a single piece of sese wood, depicting the face of a woman with an intricate hairdo.

"Wonderful Piece!"
This Bediako mask is a great piece! The workmanship is excellent. I loved it as soon as I opened the package and love it even more hanging on my wall. Thank you, Ransford Bediako! I will think of you often when I see your piece in my home.
