Adorned with four Ghanaian adinkra symbols, this enchanting folding table is the perfect place for a stack of books or cup of tea. West African artisan Awudu Saaed carves the table from native sese wood and adds a trumpeting elephant in the center of the adinkra symbols. Here, the four symbols express God, caution against hypocrisy, unity, and love (clockwise from lower left).

Not sure how I stumbled upon this mask in the first place but from the moment I saw it, something about it haunted me. Its beautiful. I could NOT stop thinking about it and finally caved, and Im so glad I did. The colors, the beadwork, and the craftsmanship are all incredible. This is my favorite piece of art we own, by far. I cant wait to collect more of Awudu Saaeds work.
