Hammered Sterling Silver and Jade Necklace, "Panajachel Sun"
Jade was highly prized by the Maya peoples; so much so that a small piece of jade would be placed beneath the tongue of the deceased to open the doors to the afterlife. Artisan Pablo Castellanos in Guatemala creates this stunning pendant necklace, which features globes of "apple green" jade alternating with glossy hammered squares of sterling silver. The pendant centers a classic snake chain.

"Love at first sight!"
I was sooooo excited for this piece to arrive, and it s even better than expected! As well as the pictures represent the piece, they really don t do it justice. It s absolutely stunning! The depth of the stone is mesmerizing and the quality and workmanship of the silver is impeccable! It s smaller than I had pictured in my mind (I was going for the bold look) and in reality the piece is delicate, yet still stands out and gets noticed! I really, really, really love this necklace. It s gone straight to the top of my favourites list. Almost forgot, I really like the chain too! It s delicate, yet looks super-sturdy, and it s bright and shiny and pretty-pretty. I highly recommend this beautiful creation, and am thrilled to own it. Thank you Mr. Castellanos for your amazing artistry!

"Beautiful ring!"
I recd my lavender jade ring just yesterday and Im very pleased. The ring fits very well and also Im pleased because the back of the ring is nice and thick, so I know the ring will last a longtime.
