Monica de Castellanos' charming collection of ceramic sculptures beautifully showcases her Guatemalan heritage and her passion for angels. Each piece is carefully hand-painted to depict traditional female attire from different regions of her country with great attention to detail, like this sculpture of Santo Domingo Xenacoj's costume. A brilliant blue skirt with vibrant accents, a red blouse or hüipil adorned with delightful stripes and motifs in black, white, pink, green and light blue as well as a harp and wings make it a truly remarkable decorative accent ideal for any space.

I love angels, and this is unlike any I have. Shes beautifully painted, exactly like the picture. The size is perfect for above the archway leading to my kitchen. I would love to see more like this, in this size.
