Sometimes known as chicken buses, these old fashioned vehicles carried people and merchandise to and from rural market towns. Noted Guatemalan ceramicist Vitelio Orozco crafts a diminutive three-inch bus in ceramic, painted by hand. On the roof, a bright palm leaf basket carries a variety of ceramic and pinewood fruits and vegetables.
