Green-Brown Floral Motif Cotton Cover Journal Recycled Paper, "Archer in the Forest"
Fatchurohman of Java designs a journal with handcrafted recycled paper and a buff and camel brown and avocado green cotton cover with a floral motif. The cover is made via a technique called kolaste, in which batik fabric is cut into strips and then woven together. The journal is held closed with a black elastic cord with a medallion stamped with the letter "F," embellished to also form an archer shooting toward a star. With unlined pages, the journal can be used for writing or sketching.

Fatchurohman Kolaste journals with handmade paper
"When I see a lot of unused paper, just trash, thrown away by people, I feel inspired. So I decided to collect them and transform them into art."
