Gold Plated Roman Glass Earrings, "Roman Mirror"

Wear a piece of history with this conversation-starting pair of earrings made with pieces of Roman glass. Uncovered from ancient Roman sites in modern-day Israel, and sourced from a reputable antique dealer authorized by the Israeli government, the glass has picked up an iridescent patina from the earth in which it rested for about 2,000 years. 22k gold plated wires encircle each glass disk, which may have once been a wineglass, jug, or other vessel.
Please note: To preserve the patina on the glass, please avoid contact with water.

"Owning a piece of history"
Wait till they are on sale tho! I spent a 50% off coupon for this and for that, I am not disappointed. They dont quite look like the pictures- its obvious theyre pieces of glass in resin. They are pretty, and refract a bit like abalone shell jewelry. But they are expensive and I worry they will not hold up well over time. I was considering purchasing the necklace to go along with it next time I got credit, but I think Ill purchase something different instead.

"She loves it."
Jewelry is so personal that I hesitated to get this for my wife, but I liked it so much, and our daughter (the art school graduate and family fashion guru) did too, so I thought Id chance it. I liked the idea of something so old (the Roman glass) becoming part of wearable art. I also thought the design rather elegant - all the beauty of 22k gold with the strength of silver underneath. The matching necklace made a lovely set. The only question was my wife - would she like it? Cut to the chase - it looks wonderful on her and she loves it. Were both more than satisfied , and the gift pouches were a nice touch.

"A sound of the islands"
I hung this above my deck and got lost in the serene tinkling of the glass, it swept me away to time spent seaside. the colors are beautiful and the craftmanship is very well done. A very pretty addition to any yard oasis

"BEAUTIFUL CRAFTSMANSHIP"
I was so happy to receive this bracelet, its even more beautiful than I expected. The attention to detail in its crafting is exquisite. The combination of copper/silver/bronze with the intricate designs make this a conversation piece. The only problem was the size, it was just too big for my wrist so I had to return it. Im not sure if there was more than one size, I should check! Had it fit better, I know I would have enjoyed wearing it every day.

"Brightens any Space"
The colors of the glass are beautiful and the individual pieces are well attached to an attractive piece of wood. My friend loved the chimes which brighten her deck and are a perfect compliment to her other decorations.
