By Eliasu Adams, this colorful bracelet combines a diversity of materials and textures. Beads of recycled glass reveal complex motifs that contrast with smooth sese wood and globes of tiger's eye. In the center, a bamboo pendant depicts an adinkra symbol known as nkonsonkonson, meaning "chain link" in the Akan language. It conveys the concept of connection and cooperation. Each person is a link and our unity forms a chain.
