Details

By Eric Danquah in Ghana, this beautiful mask represents Odo fofor – "New Love" in the Akan language. He carves the circular piece from seasoned African sese wood, giving the face slightly closed eyes and an open mouth. Elegant motifs in embossed aluminum embellish the mask, which arises from Danquah's own imagination.

Dear Eric, I received my mask yesterday and I love it! It is exactly what I wanted. Really nicely done! Thank you for brightening my day!
I was hoping that the mask would not look almost as gold as it looked in the image. But when i received it, it looked very neutral in tone which is what i wanted. Great workmanship. Now on to shadow box framing it... Eric me da woase from your home girl.... :)
